The Recreation Economy Committee of the Cambria Regional Chamber has worked in coordination with the City of Johnstown and 1889 Jefferson Center for Population Health to create the WalkWorks route and implement WalkWorks Wednesdays in the City of Johnstown. 

If you are interested in joining a walking group in Johnstown or currently belong to a walking group or other organization that is looking for a place to walk and engage in regular physical activity, please contact us with the below info:

Covid-19 Guidelines

While on the routes, please follow these practices to avoid COVID-19 exposure and protect others while enjoying the outdoors:

  • Don’t walk in groups and adhere to social distancing by staying six feet apart
  • Wear a mask when coming in contact with others
  • Take hand sanitizer with you and use it regularly
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes, and nose
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow
  • If you are sick, stay home
